The Hotel has 21 comfortable and individual bedrooms, each slightly different to give a note of pleasurable variety. Set in quiet surroundings near the medieval town of Sarlat, Monrecour lends itself to all kinds of leisure activities - some of them as unexpected such as hot air balloon flights actually taking off from the Château !
The Chateau's ten 'Luxe', 'Privilege' or 'Charme' bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated, all have a bathroom or shower-room (with hydrojet shower) and W.C. Télevision, (12 channels) and telephone, a mini-bar and safe are also at your disposal. In season, each bedroom is supplied with bath-robes for the pool.
The 'Tradition' or 'Standard' rooms, recently renovated in the chateau's former outhouses, are more contemporary, but still comfortable. Some of them are ideal for families, accommodating up to 5 people.
Those rooms have their own swimming pool and 2 paddling pools, from mid- April until the end of September.
Breakfast is served in the chateau's main reception room, decked with tapestries and a huge stone fireplace. In fine weather, you can breakfast on the large southern terrace above the protected swimming-pool, former 'house' of very famous Josephine Baker.
